About the Gamma Theta Chapter
Gamma Theta Chapter was founded on May 7, 1949. It has a total of 1,155 initiates to date. Gamma Theta has had a history of developing leaders on Wayne State’s campus and in the community.
Professional Activities
Members of Gamma Theta participate in professional activities designed to enhance our collegiate business experience and to prepare for successful careers in business. These activities include resume building workshops, mock interviews, and professional speakers to name a few.
Community Service
Our Chapter strives to give back to our community. Each semester we volunteer our time to many different causes, both on and off campus. Past services include: mentoring youth, fund raising for youth programs and shelters, canned food drives, volunteering at local community centers, and local city clean-ups.
Networking and Social Events
Social opportunities are key to success in any organization. Our social events allow us to network with other brothers, and gain from their knowledge and experience, as we build unity.
National L.E.A.D. Events
Leadership and Excellence Academies for Deltasigs (LEAD) focus on educational development of all members of the Fraternity. A variety of LEAD events are offered year-round by Delta Sigma Pi. These events include: Schools, Provincial Conferences, Volunteer Leadership Workshops, LeaderShape®, and educational programs at Grand Chapter Congress. The diversity in the organization’s conferences, workshops and training sessions, provide opportunities for chapter members to maximize their potential in areas of personal, professional, leadership and fraternal development.
